Intro

Room 40 is a service that helps libraries take control of their catalogue by deduplicating, analysing and correcting MARC21 records in a transparent workflow where every step can be reviewed. Corrections can then be applied at scale, making the service useful both in day-to-day operations and during system migrations or catalogue mergers, as well as for preparing a catalogue for an entity-based structure. It is built for API-based systems such as FOLIO and Cicero, but works with any library system that can export and re-import MARC records.

opac.bibliotekarien.se is a public library catalogue with no search engine of its own. It builds instead on what modern library systems already offer, searching Cicero, Libris, FOLIO or Koha in real time with holdings and availability straight from the source. Depending on the source system it also offers My Pages with login by library card and PIN or by BankID together with a CMS for an events calendar, news, book lists, branch pages with opening hours and the organisation's own pages, each organisation gets its own site with its own look, and since the catalogue has neither a database nor a copy of the catalogue there is nothing to migrate.

folio_libris_rtac as a managed service, allowing Libris to display real-time loan status for libraries running FOLIO. We take responsibility for the server, monitoring, security updates and support, and for keeping the service working as FOLIO, Libris or underlying dependencies change. The software is and remains open source, so customers do not buy a licence but operation, maintenance and support, on a shared platform or, as an option, on a dedicated server of their own.

Planned service, not yet available. We will offer managed hosting of the Koha library system, taking care of the server, upgrades, security updates, backups and support, so the library can focus on its work. Koha is open source, and as with our other services, customers buy operation and support rather than a licence, which means the system and its data can always be moved without lock-in.
